FeverWarn,
technology from MachineSense
(www.machinesense.com)
has changed the COVID-19 landscape by providing a measurable first line
of defense when entering a business, manufacturing/industrial or
educational facility, among others. According to the CDC, they
recommend some form of temperature monitoring device be implemented
before entering a manufacturing facility, commercial/business space, or
school.
Thermal handguns have been in use where a
security/receptionist takes the temperature of a visitor and then
allows him/her to proceed. Machinesese Feverwarn automates the whole
thermal screening process by an easy to implement first to mean body
temperature scanning and feeding the go/no-go relay to gate controller
for automated opening. Relay is now available over USB serial port but
can be converted to a digital high or Modbus relay by using a converter
to meet the application need. Besides in its cloud version Feverwarn
keeps two years of scanned data (20M scans stored in Mobile version)
and all the calibration logs for liability documentation.
Numerous studies have shown that temperature monitoring, combined with
wearing facial masks and proper 6’ social distancing greatly reduces
the chances of contracting COVID-19. It allows companies, manufacturing
facilities, and schools a level of comfort both from operational safety
and legal standpoint.
FewerWarn stands alone when compared to other temperature monitoring
devices in its design, temperature accuracy and multiple capabilities
to capture data, facial recognition and tracking if needed.
