Fourth annual Connection Community Collaboratory, Orlando Tuesday Jan. 26; 1:30 pm
The collaboratory was designed to be fast moving and expected all to have a basic understanding of the evolving connection communities' needs.
Our thought leaders included contributing editors Andy McMillan and Mark Petock. For great insight follow the links on their names to their editor pages.
Also leading were:
John Petze, Principal, SkyFoundry
Troy Davis, EnOcean Inc Sales Mgr Western Region
Paul Oswald, Director CBRE | ESI Global Workplace Solutions | Global Energy & Sustainability
..... an amazing line up.
We
limited our leaders' thoughts to five minutes after which I as
moderator provided a summary. Then on to the next thought leader's five
minute presentation. We then requested input from our panel of
thought leaders on each others input.
No power points were allowed only old school face-to-face collaborating presentations.
It was a rapid moving session that collaborated today's thoughts and quickly identified the work and resources of the various connection communities.
The Connection Community thanks http://controltrends.org/, Eric and Kenneth, for capturing the complete event on video. Linked below:

The 4th CCC was a wonderful education session
and discussion by industry experts about how to approach
creating and selling connection to the world. It was an open, fun,
collaboratory atmosphere that allowed attendees to learn and share
their opinions.
The concept of connection communities was created by Marc Petock and Ken in Chicago at the AHRExpo 2012.
We are all as a community working together and fueling new ways to extend the value of our building systems while exploring the best of breed in change and innovation.
Watch
the 2016 connected community collaboratory video and learn how our
industry is changing and make sure to plan to attend the 5th CCC 2017
Session in Las Vegas at next year's AHRExpo.
