Dr. Erfan Ibrahim, Founder & CEO of The Bit Bazaar LLC and Energy Practice Lead at Scitor Corporation, is offering these monthly seminars/webinars as a free public service to bridge the knowledge gap in the industry and inspire a new generation of students, researchers, engineers, and policy experts to understand the technical, policy and business requirements to enable Smart Grids and develop the skill set to design, build and manage the infrastructure in a commercially viable way.

The Smart Grid Educational series has recently launched the “Scitor Energy Academy” to offer 1-day and 2-day onsite workshops on Smart Grid related topics to utility staff, regulators, trade association members and product vendors.

These flat fee based onsite workshops cover key topics in Generation, Transmission, Distribution, End Use, Energy Efficiency and Energy Markets.  The workshops address both Information Technology and Operational Technology Issues with a keen focus on cybersecurity, data privacy, architecture, standards, data integration, applications and technology implementations.  The workshops also cover policy, economics, business process and compliance aspects as needed to provide a broad based education.
