IBB Returns to Connectivity Week

For the fifth year, the Interoperable Blues Band (IBB) headlines at Connectivity Week. For those of you have not heard about the IBB, it is a band organized and led by Leighton Wolffe. Each year, professional touring musicians play as the house band for the evening and guest musicians who by day are CEO’s, Control Technicians, Software Developers, Keynote Speakers and others attending Connectivity Week can join in.

Last year’s event featured a drum circle for fifty. As the IBB rocked out to R&B, Soul, and Classic Rock, tunes, the percussion section created stunning sounds and added a new dimension to songs we all love to hear, and play. Guest singers led outstanding renditions of many classic tunes, and by the end of the evening the performers outnumbered the audience. Turns out we have a lot of talent in our midst.

If you sing, play guitar, keyboards, or drums you are invited to join in and add to the proceedings. The format is the same as previous years. The setlist is published in the ConnectivityWeek website. Interested players can pick a tune or two they want to join in on. The IBB will have pro level backline gear to play. All you need to do is practice your tunes and be ready to join the band. If you just want to play percussion instruments, we will have that set up ready for you.

We have seen some stars born and heard many memorable performances. All are invited to join in and participate. This is a fun event and the must attend social highlight for ConnectivityWeek.
