Sinclair:  What is your involvement with Connectivity Week this year?

Haaser:  All of my activities are tied to OpenADR. We have days of solid OpenADR content at CW in the DR Expo.

The week starts off on Monday at 10:30 with a OpenADR Technology and Standards Update. This session will focus on update on OpenADR technologies and related Smart Grid standards activities. It will provide status and progress of OpenADR and insights to the OpenADR 2.0 and activities related to certification and testing for interoperability.

Tuesday's track is DR's Critical Value at Every Level of the Grid

On Wednesday, the session “What Is ADR and Why Should I Care?” at 10:30 will provide an overview of Automated Demand Response (ADR), the challenges faced by end-users, the aggregators and utilities that serve them, and the grid operators that administer and rely on DR as a resource. We will also focus on how these challenges are met today, as well as the technological and regulatory work underway to further grow this market in years to come.

contemporary At 1:30 Wednesday there is a case study on a multi-site retail application in “Lessons Learned From An ADR Implementation In Light Commercial.” Later, at 3:30 there will be a session focusing on “The Untapped Potential for ADR.

On Thursday, Girish Ghatikar will lead a track on Key DR Technology Directions. There are three full sessions of excellent content:

DR Technologies in Action and Current Trends
Deploying Dynamic Pricing and Distributed Energy Resources
Thinking Beyond the Traditional Paradigm

Sinclair:  Sounds like a very impressive roster of tracks.

Haaser:  Thanks Ken.  Hopefully you will be able to sit in on one or more of the sessions.
