WESTPORT, Connecticut…April 21, 2010 — AHR Expo has launched two new
communication tools designed to keep HVAC/R professionals worldwide updated on
the latest show-related news. The two new tools are webchat, on the AHR Expo
website, and a new Twitter account.
The webchat tool allows web visitors to chat live with an AHR Expo staff member
directly from any page on the website (www.ahrexpo.com),
without having to send an email or pick up the phone. The convenience of this
connection enables current and potential Show exhibitors and visitors to have
their questions answered immediately. Webchat provides site visitors an
additional way to interact with the AHR Expo team and gain access to information
about the largest HVAC/R event of the year, the 2011 AHR Expo in Las Vegas,
January 31 – February 2, 2011.
The addition of Twitter (www.twitter.com/ahrexpo)
provides another channel for the HVAC/R industry to engage in discussions about
the 2011 Show in Las Vegas, educational opportunities, industry issues,
exhibitor products and brands and numerous other items. Twitter is the
fastest-growing social media site with hundreds of millions of users across the
world, many in the HVAC/R industry.
“We are excited to provide these valuable technology tools that will assist
attendees, exhibitors and all HVAC/R professionals in their exchange of ideas so
that they may learn from each other,” said Clay Stevens, President of
International Exposition Company, which produces and manages the AHR Expo.

Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Air-Conditioning, Heating and
Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). The Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning
Institute of Canada (HRAI) is an honorary sponsor. ASHRAE's winter meeting is
held concurrently with the AHR Expo each year.
