The
PA-AC-ENO-1i gateway makes his debut at Light + Building for Panasonic
Etherea MKE and NKE Series, including also 4 free-use binary
inputs.
Frankfurt (Germany) - April, 15-20, 2012 – Hall 9.0 - Booth B68
Visitors at the Intesis booth will have the opportunity to see live
demos of the EnOcean-based new solutions the company is launching this
year.
The company will show his highlights for the air conditioning industry.
Using the own protocol of each air conditioner has permitted
Intesis to develop a powerful line up of gateways addressing the
EnOcean Ecosystem, with full bidirectional control capabilities for
each AC brand.
HVAC applications account for approximately 50% of the energy consumed
by a building. Until recently, no control and monitoring of
air-conditioning systems from open wireless protocols was possible.
Significant energy savings can be obtained by conveniently managing:
• Opened Windows: Switching off and disabling the AC unit
• Presence in the room: setting back the setpoint of the AC unit
• Limits on the Setpoint
• Auto changeover

All these energy saving capabilities can be met both in standalone and centralized solutions.
• Standalone: without the need of any BMS system the
IntesisBox AC interface receives the information of all the sensors and
performs the required control. This allows implementing simple
installations very fast and at low cost, pretty much without any
configuration.
• Centralized solutions, such as BMS, allow, besides
all the above mentioned functionality, to monitor and control the Air
conditioner usage and conditions individually offering a full
integration with the rest of the building’s installations, leading to a
high degree of comfort and energy usage.
The PA-AC-ENO-1i for Panasonic Etherea MKE and NKE Series makes his
debut at Light + Building. The new PA-AC-ENO-1i is fully EnOcean
interoperable, offering a complete control and monitoring of AC indoor
unit internal variables, including error codes, from EnOcean sensors or
gateways. The product has compact form factor, do not require external
power, is very easy to install, includes 4 free-use binary inputs, and
the AC unit can still be controlled simultaneously by the IR handset
and by EnOcean. Also, an advanced set of features enable to use it as
stand-alone room controller.
Intesis AC interfaces are available not only for Panasonic but for the
main AC brands such as Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Mitsubishi Heavy
Industries, Fujitsu, General, Hitachi…
