White House, DOE, Garage, CPUC & PG&E Announcements at ConnectivityWeek
The highly anticipated winners of the $100,000 DOE Apps for Energy contest to build Green Button based applications will be announced at ConnectivityWeek at the opening plenary on May 22 in Santa Clara.
On hand to make the announcements will be several contest judges: DOE
Assistant Secretary Patricia Hoffman, PG&E CIO Karen Austin and
Garage Venture Managing Director Bill Reichert.
The announcement will take place following the keynote given by White
House US CTO Todd Park and CPUC Commissioner Catherine Sandoval.
The DOE Apps for Energy contest is open until May 15 and is sponsored
by the DOE, PG&E, Itron and Grid21.
