Portland, OR – April 4, 2013 – Obvius receives BTL Mark for the first version of a newly released BACnet software module, supporting native BACnet/IP protocol.

Obvius’ BACnet software module allows the AcquiSuite and AcquiLite line of data acquisition servers to act as a BACnet server to seamlessly integrate with any BACnet building management system or application. The BACnet Module will provide pre-scaled objects for any data point of a connected device, such as a meter or sensor.  Users will be able to instantly integrate virtually any pulse, analog or Modbus device into existing BACnet systems with the auto-discovery Obvius is so well known for in the industry.

Version v02.13.0309_1b of the BACnet software module is available at no charge and can be downloaded through the user interface of the A8812, A8810, A7810 and A8814 product lines running current firmware.  Contact Obvius today for a demonstration kit.
