Recognition as one of the top Canadian
ICT firms comes shortly after being selected as one of the country’s
best managed companies
[Brossard, QC, April 30, 2015] - Distech Controls, an innovation leader
in energy management solutions, announced that the company has recently
ranked 68th in the 2015 edition of the Branham300, a listing of the Top
250 Canadian Information and Communications Technology (ICT) companies.
This is the sixth appearance on the list for Distech Controls since its
debut in the 2010 edition, where the company continues to consistently
move up in the rankings. To access the 2015 Edition of the Branham300,

Distech Controls is also proud to announce that the company has, for
the first time, ranked in Branham300’s list of the Top 25 Canadian ICT
Professional Services Companies, coming in at #22.
This most recent accolade comes on the heels of the announcement that
Distech Controls was selected as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies
in 2014 for its excellence in business performance. Established in
1993, Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s leading
business award programs that recognizes Canadian companies that have
implemented world-class business practices and created value in
innovative ways.
“Today’s market place is not just about financial performance; it is
also about the investment in the people. Distech Controls invests in
their team to build up a strong and stable company. Best Managed
companies are home grown companies making smart investments to achieve
above average returns,” said Peter Brown, National Co-Leader of
Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program and Senior Practice Partner,
Deloitte.
“To be recognized by these two distinct and renowned Canadian programs,
just weeks apart, is quite an incredible feeling for the Distech
Controls team,” said Etienne Veilleux, President and CEO of Distech
Controls. “The commitment of each and every employee to our company’s
vision is already remarkable, so to be awarded for this passion and
dedication is truly an honor,” added Veilleux.

About Canada’s Best Managed Companies
Canada's Best Managed Companies continues to be the mark of excellence
for Canadian-owned and managed companies with revenues over $10
million. Every year since the launch of the program in 1993, hundreds
of entrepreneurial companies have competed for this designation in a
rigorous and independent process that evaluates their management skills
and practices. The awards are granted on five levels: 1) Best Managed
winner (one of the new winners selected each year); 2) Requalified
winner (award recipients that have re-applied and successfully retained
their Best Managed designation for two additional years, subject to
annual operational and financial review); 3) Gold Standard winner
(After three consecutive years of maintaining their Best Managed
status, these winners have demonstrated their commitment to the program
and successfully retained their award for their 4th consecutive year);
4) Gold Standard requalified winner (Award recipients that have applied
and successfully retained their Gold Standard designation for two
additional years, subject to annual operational and financial review);
5) Platinum Club member (Winners have maintained their Best Managed
status for seven years or more). Program sponsors are Deloitte, CIBC,
