Eaton Corporation Joins Kepware’s Protocol Program

Portland, ME – Kepware Technologies, the leader in Communications for Automation, announced today that Eaton Corporation’s Electrical Group has chosen Kepware as their primary provider of device communications and has joined Kepware’s VEP (Vendor Endorsed Protocol) Program.
Eaton embeds Kepware communication protocols in a variety of HMI Products. Kepware protocols enable connectivity to thousands of automation devices from various third party vendors. In addition, Eaton relies on Kepware for connectivity to their own products through their own proprietary protocols. By joining the Kepware VEP (Vendor Endorsed Protocol) program, Eaton will ensure that Kepware will offer the industry’s best connectivity to their products now and into the future.
