IQeye cameras read the dice inside the dice cups

San Juan Capistrano, CA, and Lancaster, PA, August 05, 2008—IQinVision, market leader in high performance megapixel network cameras, smart IP cameras, and network video recording systems, today announced that Bay 101 Casino, located in California’s Silicon Valley, has chosen IQinVision megapixel cameras to enhance security at gaming tables and currency cages. The IQeyes are managed by Wavestore DVRs and the upgrade project was managed and installed by Digital Security Solutions.

Bay 101 Casino has gained renown throughout the gaming community as one of the finest clubs on the west coast of America. This popular facility features 40 gaming tables on two floors and includes a sports bar restaurant, deli, and beauty salon. Digital Security Solutions was asked to upgrade the security system and IQeye megapixel cameras were selected and integrated onto seven of the existing Wavestore servers, while retaining the existing analog camera network.

The IQeye 752, 2-megapixel day-night camera was selected for its high-quality megapixel images and ease of installation. Ryan Delagrange, Digital Security Solutions, highlighted IQinVision’s “great support infrastructure” as another valuable benefit.

The IQeye cameras are installed above certain high limit gaming tables and to provide forensic detail for cash cage window views. Located at a height of 20 feet and with a viewing diameter of 12 feet, the superior megapixel technology enables managers to view the dice in the dice cups and read the serial numbers of the bills being passed back and forth at the cash transaction cages.

IQinVision’s President and CEO, Pete DeAngelis, “Whether it’s monitoring the fast-paced action at a casino or the intricate movements of product in a jewelry store; whether the customer has standardized on our megapixel cameras or is using them in combination with legacy analog cameras, if the end user is looking for consistent, crystal-clear forensic detail images, the choice is megapixel technology.”
