Automated Logic Corporation Expands Branch Operations in Ontario, Canada

KENNESAW, Ga., Aug. 24, 2011 – Automated Logic Corporation (ALC), a leading provider of innovative building management solutions that maximize energy efficiency while ensuring occupant comfort, has acquired Integrated Control Solutions, Inc. (ICS), an independent ALC controls contractor located in Ottawa, Canada. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Automated Logic Corp. is a subsidiary of Carrier Corp., the world’s leader in high technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions and a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
ICS designs, installs and services building control systems for high profile commercial office buildings and institutions in Ottawa and eastern Ontario, and became an Automated Logic dealer in 2000. Since then, it has established a reputation as an automation and integration expert for large-scale buildings and critical environmental control applications. ICS president Rudy Paleshnuik and the management team will continue to serve the expanded Automated Logic – Ontario operations.
