PLEASANT HILL, Calif., July 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Brian Turner, known for his longstanding history in the building controls and automation industry from Controlco to OTI, today announces the launch of Buildings IOT. This corporate entity houses three subsidiaries – Controlco, Kodaro LLC and OTI – that continue to serve different aspects of the building automation industry.

"There have been a lot of changes for our companies over the course of two years," Brian said. "Creating Buildings IOT allows us to clear up any lingering confusion in the marketplace about who's doing what. It also allows us to advance our research and development investments at a critical time when the industry is experiencing its own big changes."

While Controlco, Kodaro and OTI focus on parts, software and systems integration respectively, Buildings IOT serves as their parent company with Brian as CEO. Shared research and development assets will also come from Buildings IOT to the three subsidiaries.

With this announcement, the new corporate website buildingsiot.net goes live, along with the LinkedIn company profile and company Twitter handle @bldngsiot.
