Tridium to demonstrate Niagara Appliance at the AHR Expo Booth 1984
RICHMOND, VA - Tridium Inc., a leading provider of device integration and Internet-based control applications, will showcase the Niagara Appliance™ program at the AHR Expo in Orlando, FL, February 7-9, 2005 at Booth 1984. The Niagara Appliance program is designed to support equipment manufacturers who wish to enable communications to their devices and offer integration with other building systems. The M2M (Man-to-Machine/ Machine-to-Machine) capabilities provided via Niagara Appliance enable remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment, and provide a more efficient means of operating and maintaining equipment systems.
The Niagara Appliance program bundles hardware, software, and professional services, to deliver a turnkey product solution to the manufacturer. By leveraging the Niagara Appliance program, manufacturers can quickly web-enable their equipment, making it compatible with major building system standards. Under the program, Tridium's Professional Services Organization works with the manufacturer to define functionality and features, and encapsulate the unique domain expertise of the manufacturer within the Niagara Appliance. “This program makes it easy for manufacturers to Internet-enable their products”, said John Petze, Tridium President and CEO. "In addition to meeting market demand, manufacturers are finding that they can offer revenue enhancing, value-added services with their products." Prominent manufacturers including McQuay International and SQUARE D have already taken advantage of the Niagara Appliance program.
