Zoning and Direct Digital Controls Train the Trainer
[an error occurred while processing this directive] |
As consumers and commercial building owners become more sophisticated in their needs for control of their environment, zoning and direct digital control techniques have become more the rule than the exception. Many Heating & Cooling Systems employ ZONE Control and this is the trend for the future. Zoning maintains each zone (area) at the desired temperature. For heating, the zone controls may activate an electrical heating circuit, or control the flow of conditioned air, hot water or steam. Zone cooling uses damper control in ducts or valves in chilled water circuits. Energy management systems (residential and commercial) require automatic control operation. DDC is the use of digital computers to perform these operations.
To help HVACR Educators and Trainers better understand Zoning and Direct Digital Controls, Mr. Hoffmann of Johnson Controls will be conducting a Zoning and Direct Digital Controls, Residential and Light Commercial Applications Train the Trainer. This program will highlight the availability and application of these popular systems and include examples of the technology and installation techniques employed.
