BMAM EXPO Asia 2008 launched its first edition successfully in Bangkok, Thailand

BMAM EMPO Asia 2008, the premier B2B exhibition and conference for the building maintenance and asset management industry took place successfully at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre in Bangkok, Thailand from 25th to 26th September 2008.
Over 142 exhibiting and co-exhibiting companies from 25 countries participated, taking up 5,000 sq meters of exhibition space. The exhibition attracted over 3,000 trade visitors of which 300 were foreign visitors coming from 20 countries. 66% of these visitors had direct purchasing authority. In addition, there was also a highly successful conference organized alongside the exhibition that attracted over 200 VIP delegates comprising senior executives and key decision makers.
Mr. Loy Joon How, General Manager of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the event organizer says: “We are pleased with the results of our 1st ever edition. There is a general consensus amongst our exhibitors and visitor delegates that the event was very professionally organized.”
Exhibitors were also pleased with the quality of trade visitors that attended the event. Over 42% of trade visitors have purchasing budgets of over 5 million baht while over 16% has purchasing budgets of over 10 million baht.

It is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our complete solutions and services of the latest technology, innovation regarding building management & maintenance, security system, HVAC as well as energy management system.”
Another exhibitor, Mr. Sean Boey of TUV SUD PSB says “We have achieved good quality leads from a wide range of potential customers in the industry.”
BMAM EXPO Asia 2008 was staged in response to the present economic environment where businesses are facing increasingly business and financial pressures. This event was well attended by trade visitors as it provided them with solutions to improve their business processes, cost effectiveness and operation efficiency.
Mr. Col Lin Yeo of Sodexo commented “We received enquiries from large mulit-national companies and local Thai conglomerates from the education, healthcare, oil and gas, manufacturing, property and banking sectors.”
BMAM EXPO Asia 2009 will be back again from 3-5 September 2009.
