WEST HARTFORD, Conn., December 28, 2017
– Smart Home & Smart Building technologies will enter a new period
of innovation at CES 2018 thanks to Legrand, a global leader in
electrical and digital infrastructures. There are few spaces on the CES
show floor where will this be more apparent than at booth SU #43207
where Legrand will demonstrate power, light, and data technologies that
are not simply smart but carefully engineered for the Built Environment
and with a high emphasis on design.
Legrand will launch its newest Connected Device Offering, smart
lighting controls from the radiant Collection, comprised of devices
designed and manufactured for how consumers live or aspire to live. The
radiant collection of dimmers, outlets, and switches adds a touch of
class and invigorating design to any room and now includes smart light
switches that enable consumers to stay connected to their spaces with
lighting controls, outlets, and home automation that reflect their
personal style. Designed for the built environment — addressing code
compliance, complexity, reliability, and longevity needs of buildings —
this new line provides consumers with assurance of quality, function,
and performance.
Legrand is showcasing partnerships with IoT and Smart Home leaders,
including Samsung, Amazon, Google, Ivani, Netatmo, and more. The
company has instituted a comprehensive developer program (Works with
Legrand) with APIs that enable partners to quickly design Legrand
interoperability into their smart home solutions.
Legrand is also showing that Smart Home technology extends beyond the
house or apartment, providing consumers with the comforts, convenience,
and customization of home in Marriott hotels. Legrand, Samsung, and
Marriott will show the hotel room of the future that gives hotel guests
unprecedented personalization, including intuitive lighting and
voice-activated room control thanks to end-to-end IoT services on the
Samsung ARTIK platform and the SmartThings Cloud.
