Presenting on “The Interdependence of
MEP and Envelope Commissioning” & “ Is an Audit & Retro-Cx an
Rx for Energy Savings?”
(Washington, D.C., December 5, 2018) CxEnergy, the only conference and
expo dedicated exclusively to building commissioning and energy
management, announced today that TLC Engineering for Architecture will
be a Gold Sponsor at the event. The company will also be an exhibitor
(booth #208).
TLC Engineering for Architecture Principal and Director of Energy
Services Mark Gelfo, P.E., CxA, EMP, LEED Fellow will present on the
topic of “The Whole is Greater than the Sum of its Parts: The
Interdependence of MEP and Envelope Commissioning,” alongside Darek
Brandt, P.E., Intertek/PSI. This presentation will discuss Building
Enclosure Commissioning (BECx), and how it synergizes with mechanical,
electrical, and plumbing systems to benefit building owners.
“CxEnergy is hands down the best
conference I’ve been to in my career, no doubt about it!” Gelfo said in
anticipation of CxEnergy 2019 and its focus on commissioning and energy
management programming.
Gelfo will be joined on the technical program by his TLC colleague Al
LaPera, CxA, EMP, with a presentation entitled “Is an Audit &
Retro-Cx an Rx for Energy Savings?” Nick Dalesandro, P.E., Depository
Trust Clearing Corporation (DTCC) will co-present. “CxEnergy is the
perfect place for a presentation like this,” said LaPera. “It is a
forum where building engineers and owners’ representatives share
perspectives on projects.”
CxEnergy 2019 is being held April 15-18
at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, FL. Attendees will earn AIA and
other industry certification continuing education credits for
