Zeus Wireless CREATES NEW GLOBAL ENERGY & FACILITIES CONTROL DIVISION

Appoints Industry Expert, Robin Shaffer to Spearhead Business Development Efforts

COLUMBIA, Maryland – Zeus Wireless, Inc., an emerging supplier of innovative wireless data connectivity solutions, announces the appointment of Robin Shaffer as Business Development Manager, Global Energy and Controls.

Shaffer has spent most of the last 15 years in the HVAC industry. Prior to joining Zeus Wireless he held a variety of different management positions during 10 years with Johnson Controls, Inc., a Fortune 150 company and global market leader in facility management and controls. Before Johnson Controls, he spent 3 years with Trane Company, a division of American Standard and a global leader in indoor comfort systems. Shaffer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering/HVAC concentration, from California Polytechnic State University, and an MBA from Marquette University.

Shaffer expects that Zeus' success in the Facilities Control market will be based upon two important factors. "First, we must establish 'proof of concept' that Zeus' wireless data connectivity solutions can effectively replace wire in standard Facility Control applications." Added Shaffer, "From this, we can demonstrate that the economic and other benefits associated with a wireless solution far exceed those of doing it the 'old-fashioned way' with wire."
