Waterford, Ireland. February, 21st 2011. OPC-UA Solutions from Embedded Labs will be on display on the ARM booth at Embedded World 2011 (Hall 10, stand 343). ARM will be demonstrating Cortex™-M3 processor-based OPC-UA connectivity with Embedded Labs’ fasaLINK module. The fasaLINK module contains Embedded Labs’ OPC-UA Device Server Software Stack. Embedded World 2011 takes place in Nuremberg Germany from the 1st to the 3rd of March.

Gary Atkinson, Director, Embedded Segment, ARM said, “The Embedded Labs team recognised the flexibility and performance of the Cortex-M series processors and were able to develop their OPC-UA Device Server Software Stack for the Cortex-M3 processor, making integration of OPC-UA into OEM’s products a much simpler process and at a much lower price point than is currently available in the market.”

Shane Robinson, Commercial Director, Embedded Labs said, “The ARM Cortex-M processor family continues to revolutionise the MCU market. The OPC-UA Device Server Software Stack from Embedded Labs leverages the power of the Cortex-M processor family to deliver scalable, standards based connectivity at the lowest bill of materials cost in the industry”.
