MINNEAPOLIS, February 6, 2014 — Honeywell (NYSE: HON) recently won four Control Trends Awards (CTA) at the organization’s annual ceremony held January 21 in New York City. Honeywell won awards in four different categories including: Building Automation System of the Year, Thermostat of the Year, Marketing Tools and Support, and HVAC Controls Executive of the Year. The Control Trends Awards honor new dimensions of insight, recognition and prestige to top performers in HVAC, Controls and Building Automation industries.

Honeywell’s recognition encompasses the Environmental and Combustion Controls business in the following areas:

•    Tom Rosback, vice president and general manager of Honeywell's Commercial Control Systems Business, was honored as the HVAC Controls Executive of the Year for his contributions to the industry over the past year including the launch of eight new products in Q4 2013, reaching 1,000 end customers in every major city in the U.S.
•    The Honeywell Prestige® IAQ thermostat, won the Thermostat of the Year award, marking the second year in a row that a Honeywell thermostat has been recognized in the category.   The Prestige IAQ was introduced during 2013 and  offers a high-definition color display and is programmable up to seven days.,
•    Honeywell WEBs was named the Building Automation System of the Year. WEBs is a web-enabled integration building system for small to large facilities that allows for integration of diversion systems and products from different manufacturers that communicate using different protocols.
