BOSTON — Powerhouse Dynamics announced today a major expansion of the remote equipment control functionality of its award winning enterprise energy and asset management system. In addition, the company reported that the system has been renamed SiteSage™, replacing the eMonitor™ name under which it has been known. SiteSage is designed for multi-site operators of small commercial facilities, such as restaurant, convenience store, and specialty retail chains.
“With the new SiteSage Controller, the ability to control equipment has been extended beyond HVAC to any equipment, including lighting,” said Jason Roeder, Director of Energy Products and Services for Powerhouse Dynamics. “As with the entire SiteSage system, the Controller applies an extremely intuitive graphical approach to equipment control. With the unique ability to set multiple schedules of varying types per piece of equipment, this new capability represents a significant advance in control flexibility and dramatically expands SiteSage functionality.”
SiteSage allows customers to centrally
control HVAC and other equipment via an intuitive web interface and
mobile apps. It also remotely monitors equipment and uses sophisticated
analytics to diagnose performance issues, enhance maintenance, and
identify savings opportunities. SiteSage makes it simple to benchmark
energy usage and equipment performance across facilities, allowing
multi-location companies to identify and share best practices,
optimizing performance across the chain. As the system was designed
specifically for smaller facilities, despite its sophistication it
features low cost, easy installation, simple operation, and minimum
imposition on staff time.
The new Controller can manage multiple zones, each supporting multiple
circuits, and control both single phase equipment such as lighting and
3-phase equipment such as exhaust fans.

us to the name change we had been contemplating,” said Powerhouse
Dynamics CEO Martin Flusberg. “We wanted to ensure that the name
reflected the multi-faceted nature of our rapidly evolving product.
SiteSage is about proactive and intelligent energy management and
control, and the new the name signifies that the system is very much
part of the movement to smart buildings.”
