ATLANTA – February 1, 2017– Acuity Brands, Inc (NYSE: AYI) businesses, Distech Controls and DGLogik, are exhibiting at the 2017 AHR Expo® to showcase innovative controls and Internet of Things (IoT) tools that integrate with Acuity Brands’ digital LED lighting products to enable smarter capabilities for building automation. The AHR Expo (International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition) will host more than 2,000 exhibitors and 60,000 industry professionals from the U.S. and 150 other countries, January 30 through February 1 in Las Vegas.

Distech Controls is showcasing its award-winning building management controllers and web-based design and visualization interfaces. Featured solutions include its ECLYPSE® Connected BACnet/IP and Wi-Fi HVAC Controller Series, and its ENVYSION™ interface, which delivers a unique, distributed architecture over the IP protocol, and a unified user experience for building management systems. DGLogik will be at the show showcasing its application development and visualization platform, which allows users to design real-time, data-driven applications and dashboards.

“Building management currently requires multiple systems to manage lighting, HVAC, security and other core functions, but we’re changing that by integrating lighting with controls and monitoring and reporting dashboards to simplify building management and open the door to a true unified user experience,” said Audwin Cash, Vice President, Acuity Controls. “Ultimately, we aim to make it easier and more profitable for property managers to obtain a fully integrated building management system that delivers far more value than multi-vendor approaches.”
