SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Feb. 13, 2018 – Switch Automation, a multinational commercial real estate software as a service (SaaS) company, launched three new smart building platform products and received industry recognition from two global independent research firms.

Switch Automation’s new smart building platform products
Switch Automation introduced three new solutions today: Portfolio Intelligence, Performance Optimization and Enterprise IoT to help real estate teams make effective, timely decisions to reduce operating and energy expenses while delivering an exceptional occupant experience. Additionally, Switch launched a redesigned website in early 2018, giving building professionals access to the latest news and resources to empower the next generation of facility management.

Switch Automation recognized as a facility optimization market Innovator
Verdantix, a global independent research firm,  named Switch Automation an “Innovator” in their 2018 Green Quadrant® Facility Optimization Software report. This independent assessment of fourteen major software applications for facility optimization is designed to help enterprise leaders choose the best fit solution for their business case. Verdantix highlighted Switch’s strengths in facility data capture and management, asset fault detection and enterprise reporting. Specifically, the Switch Platform received multiple perfect scores of 3.0/3.0 each for HVAC and lighting system data capture, external reporting and executive dashboard functionality.

“Switch Automation should be shortlisted by CRE portfolio managers seeking increased transparency and control over the energy and operational performance of facilities within their portfolios. Switch Automation’s software and managed services will support portfolio managers in cost-cutting objectives, while enabling them to improve building performance and operating income through variables such as reduced maintenance requirements and better equipment sequencing,” according to Verdantix.

Switch Automation wins 2018 Australia Smart Building Solutions Company of the Year
Frost & Sullivan, a global market research and consulting firm, announced Switch Automation as the winner of the 2018 Australia Smart Building Solutions Company of the Year award.

"Winning the 2018 Australia Smart Building Solutions Company of the Year award and being named an Innovator in the 2018 Green Quadrant® Facility Optimization Software report affirms that our solutions resonate with forward-thinking leaders who value operational efficiency and sustainability,” said Switch Automation CEO Deb Noller.
