Distech Controls launches full suite of BIM files
Distech Controls, an Acuity Brands company, and innovation leader in
energy management solutions, has launched BIM Files (Building
Information Modelling) for its whole product portfolio to help
architects, engineers and consultants create more efficient
buildings.
BIM is a 3D, model-based process that provides useful insights and
tools for professionals to plan, design, construct and manage buildings
more efficiently. It offers a complete digital representation of a
building. Team members can share and update details throughout the
project lifecycle, from initial design to construction and beyond.

The new Distech Controls files are small and will allow designers to
seamlessly integrate building controls into a project, saving both time
and money, as they eliminate the guesswork about how the controls will
operate in the built environment.
