Manufacturing Relocates To SLC Technologies Facility in Hickory, North Carolina
BOCA RATON, Florida - (November 30, 1999) - To prepare for future growth and meet increased demand for its access control and security management products, CASI-RUSCO, an SLC Technologies company, is relocating its manufacturing operation to an SLC facility in Hickory, North Carolina. The site uses state-of-the-art equipment, including the latest surface mount technology, for greater production efficiency, improved quality controls and faster delivery of products to market. Previously, CASI-RUSCO's products were manufactured in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

The move has been facilitated by the use of Oracle, enterprise resource planning software that addresses and integrates global, multi-organizational tasks and issues, enabling SLC to consolidate its manufacturing strategy and better manage inventories without major changes in business systems.
