Alerton® will be promoting WEBtalk™, BACnet™ integration and new BACnet products at the AHR Expo.
Alerton will be introducing WEBtalk, it's new web-based solution for building systems, exhibiting BACnet integration with a number of vendors and displaying it's own BACnet product line, BACtalk®, at the upcoming AHR Expo in Dallas, Texas.
Alerton's WEBtalk technology allows access to building systems and data using standard web browser technology. The BACnet integration section will display BACnet's flexibility and how native systems and components from multiple vendors can be tied together. Alerton's BACnet product line, BACtalk will be shown along with new BACnet products including the NETview™, Microset II™ and new VisualLogic® controllers.
TAC has released version 3.3 of TAC Vista. TAC Vista is their Windowstm Central System supervisory software package which can be installed in Windowstm 95, 98, NT workstations, and NT servers. It can be integrated to all previous TAC and Tour & Andersson Controls systems installed as early as late 1970's, plus drivers for TAC LonWorks products and any LonWorks compatible product on the market, all without gateways. LonWorks networks can be directly connected, remote via auto-dial modem, or Ethernet networks via LE routers. Other features include direct links to Web browses, LAN's and WAN's, plus TCP/IP protocol between multiple workstations. Also included is a high level processing module to provide intelligent handling of data imported via DDE and from other LonWorks systems and universal gateways such as BACNET. Other unique features include, TAC's unique Energy Signature module, Data Logging, Alarm handling, Report Generation, Graphing Presentations, Dynamic Color Graphics, Maintenance Management, Document File Management, Equipment Management, Historical activity logger, and Universal Trending.
TAC (Formally Tour & Andersson Control) has released the new TAC Ventatm line of control valves for steam, hot water, and chilled water systems. These valves are the first HVAC control valves to meet IEC 534 compliance standards. This valve is extremely quiet with an excellent low leakage rating of less that .02%. The stainless stem and trim, self-cleaning robust design provide for a very long life span with minimal maintenance requirements. The valve is also compatible with glycol mixtures for low temperature applications.
The EQM design provides very accurate control
over the total flow range of the valve.
Other features are stainless seat and trim, sweat and NPT union connections, and
high temperature packing kit for high-pressure steam. The Ventatm line of
control valves are available in sizes from ½" to 2", either two-way
or three-way configuration.
The TAC Ventatm valve is compatible with existing TAC actuators and linkages and the new TAC Fortatm combination actuator - linkage. The TAC Fortatm actuator has selectable signals, direction of travel, and travel speed, 1/3 - 2/3 control from a single control signal, and can easily adapt to most any existing control valve.

Monitor Corporation's VOLU-flo/OAM
Outdoor Air Monitor
The
VOLU-flo/OAM is both a monitor for measurement of minimum outside airflow
requirements, and a three-mode controller to maintain the inlet damper at the
desired minimum, economizer or external setpoint. The VOLU-flo/OAM has been
designed to directly measure inducted outside air, thereby assisting building
owners and operators to meet the minimum outside air ventilation requirements of
ASHRAE 62-89 and serve as a tool to assist in balancing the diverse demands of
providing employee safety and occupant satisfaction while maintaining energy
conservation.
