Viconics & Tridium Form Partnership (VYKON Channel)

Montreal, January 07, 2009 – Viconics Electronics Inc is pleased to announce it has formed a strategic partnership with Tridium to provide its VYKON Channel with a broad range of communicating thermostat / controller product covering most used fan coil, heat pump, roof top and zoning applications.

Trevor Palmer – Marketing Manager for Viconics said; “The Viconics VT7000 series product line combined with the VYKON JACE® series of controllers are a perfect match for delivering simple-low cost, powerful control packages to the commercial mid-market, the most underserved section of commercial real estate.” In the case of the wireless products, total installed cost and ROI is dramatically reduced allowing energy savings and building automation to be realized with a fraction of the upfront costs.”

The VT7000 series is offered in wired (BACnet MS/TP, & Echelon) and Wireless (Zigbee with MSP). The wireless version of the VT7000 series is complimented by a VYKON JACE network option card. This option card permits the integration of the VT7000 series directly into the NiagaraAX Framework® eliminating the need for network wiring typically associated with most equipment controllers.
