Job Order Contracting programs allow for the needed dialogue, creative interaction and special skill sets and materials needed for sustainable practices at existing federal and state facilities. Many public procurement methods do not allow for this collaborative environment which is necessary to best develop and implement sustainable renovation, repair and construction solutions. JOC is perfectly aligned with public facilities green efforts.
