Johnson Controls to release Metasys® 5.0 building management system upgrade
Webcast to showcase latest features in building controls, energy monitoring and wireless sensors
Johnson Controls, the industry leader in providing building efficiency and energy management solutions, will offer media an advanced look at Metasys® version 5.0, the latest installment of the world’s premiere Building Management System (BMS).
This Webcast will showcase how Metasys 5.0 delivers greater visibility into building operations and energy usage through multiple system enhancements driven by end-user demands. The latest features include Web-enabled reports and summaries compatible with the iPhone and iPod Touch platforms, and wireless controls and sensors.
Representatives from the University of Minnesota, the beta user for Metasys 5.0 and the largest user of the application in North America, will also share details behind how they plan to decrease their energy consumption in 2010.
