Join Us for the EISS™ Demonstration in Booth 1430!
Eatontown, NJ, January 4, 2012. IPKeys announced today it will exhibit
at the DistribuTECH 2012 Conference in San Antonio, TX from January
24-26, 2012. IPKeys will demonstrate its OpenADR 2.0 compliant Energy
Interop Server & System (EISS™) and interoperability with software
and hardware from other OpenADR Alliance members in booth 1430.
What is EISS™?
EISS™ is a unique business solution integrating a Software as a Service
(“SaaS”) cloud-based computing platform with facility-based end point
devices that interoperate with a variety of building management and
energy control systems. EISS™ is open standards based and uses the new
OASIS Energy Interop™/OpenADR 2.0 standard. This standard was created
in alignment with federal Smart Grid efforts to provide a single, open
standard for energy related communications.
Why EISS?
EISS™ presents a dramatic change and opportunity for the demand
aggregation, curtailment services, utility and energy wholesale markets
with the automation of real time standards based interoperable machine
to machine two-way communications. EISS™ provides a physical hedge by
deploying facility based program logic that enables predetermined
changes in electricity consumption in response to price signal
information, demand response (DR) events and other related initiatives,
such as Price Responsive Demand (PRD) programs. IPKeys’ standards-based
real time telemetry gives implementing demand aggregators, curtailment
services providers and utilities significant competitive advantage and
compliance capabilities.

interoperates with a variety of building management and energy control
system protocols, including BACnet, MODBUS®, etc. EISS™ also conveys
pricing and a range of program information signals from Independent
System Operators in an EI/OpenADR 2.0 format, further enabling
