Belimo Aircontrols (USA) introduces its quick running line of non-spring actuators, designed with the power, flexibility and efficiency that today’s applications demand. Whether in heating or cooling circuits, ventilation, extraction or VAV systems – the new quick running actuators open and close air dampers at top speed ensuring fresh air in paint rooms, laboratories and other sensitive areas. Rugged motors, gearboxes and NEMA 2 housings guarantee a long service life – even under the harshest of conditions. The automatic current reduction at standstill, as well as a mechanical torque lock, lowers the energy consumption to a minimum. Available for damper applications in rotating and linear versions, these actuators are load independent over the entire specified operating range.

Enhanced features include:

• Speed – 2.5 seconds for 90° at 35 in-lb (4Nm) to 7 seconds for 90°at 140 in-lb (16Nm)
