Alliance Creates Financing Program for Controls Installations

Houston, Texas In an agreement KMC Controls has formed an alliance with HVAC Capital Corporation of Houston, Texas to provide a leasing-like financing program for the installation of controls projects. The program represents a new sales tool for KMC distribution partners and a budgetary solution for facility owners or trustees.

HVAC Capital was formed nearly four years ago to address the needs of customers by allowing them to finance replacements of their controls, mechanical and electrical systems. The company has worked successfully through many mechanical and controls contractors. The KMC partnership provides HVAC Capital with access to a contractor network servicing a large number of commercial and institutional facilities across the United States.

“We’re helping KMC contractors solve an age-old problem for their customers,” says Larry Derrett, founder and owner of HVAC Capital. “For example, their customer needs a system upgrade but the budget won’t support it. Using this program, we have financed both the equipment and installation costs of new installations and retrofits for schools, commercial office buildings, churches, hospitals, small businesses, and state and local governments. Best of all, the energy savings can, and often do, offset the lease payment.”

Using convenient web-based tools, a KMC representative can deliver a financing proposal and application and include them in all submittal packages. These proposals can cover projects as low as $5000 and up to millions of dollars. Standard terms are from 3 to 7 years but can go longer if needed.
