QA Graphics Expands Niagara AX Graphic Services

Ankeny, Iowa – July 17, 2012 – QA Graphics, a leading provider of BAS design services for the building controls industry, is pleased to announce that their HVAC graphic specialists have all completed custom advanced training to further enhance their knowledge of the Niagara AX framework. This will allow QA Graphics to expand their already large network of customers that are using domestic graphic sourcing from the company, as well as expand their services to the rest of the Niagara community.

QA Graphics serves as an expert design resource for the controls industry and is able to provide BAS graphics for any type of building automation system including Alerton, Andover, Automated Logic, Computrols, Delta, Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Inc., KMC Controls, Reliable Controls, Siemens Building Technologies, Teletrol, and Trane. Earlier this year, QA Graphics formed a partnership with Tridium, Inc. to develop a high-end library exclusively for Niagara AX 3.7. When completed, the new graphics will be pre-installed on all Tridium Niagara AX JACE and Supervisor devices, allowing integrators to consistently assemble more realistic system graphics.

For integrators that prefer to outsource their graphics needs, QA Graphics provides graphic development for Niagara AX 3.5, 3.6, and 3.7. To continue to enhance their graphic services offered for Niagara AX projects, the HVAC graphic design team completed advanced training through a certified trainer. The training provided the team with an advanced understanding of the software’s capabilities and will allow QA Graphics to develop additional tools to streamline their internal processes and provide advanced graphic solutions.

This is very advantageous for integrators; they don’t have to make any changes to their database for graphic functionality, and have the ability to modify the graphics themselves if changes are needed. This is possible using QA Graphics’ licensed image module. It also ensures that graphics are placed in the accurate directories and changes can be made at the project site without having to send new files.

QA Graphics has also created a licensed module file for their Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard® solution to work exclusively with a Niagara AX device. It allows the dashboard application to be integrated seamlessly with the building automation system to display building performance information for the purpose of educating building occupants and the public.
