eSight Energy has been named 2013 Enterprise Smart Grid Leader, one of ten vendors selected from 200 by Groom Energy Solutions, for the Corporate Buyers’ Guide for Energy Management Software. Following a report based on over 65 interviews with corporate energy, facility and sustainability managers, venders and an online survey of over 150 organizations – Groom Energy Solutions provided a list of ten Enterprise Smart Grid Leaders.
 
According to Groom Energy Solutions, Enterprise Smart Grid (ESG) is the integration of energy metering, hardware and software by organizations seeking visibility, control and management of their energy consumption. According to their research, ESG is a $6.2B market in 2013 and is expected to grow 30 percent per year over the next four years.
