ZigBee Alliance Announces New Developers Conference in Munich
New European Developers Conference offered in response to growing worldwide interest in ZigBee standard

San Ramon, Calif. – June 4, 2007 – The ZigBee® Alliance, a global ecosystem of companies creating wireless solutions for use in residential, commercial and industrial applications, today announced its first European ZigBee Developers Conference is scheduled for June 18-20, 2007 in Munich, Germany. Industry experts from ZigBee member companies and leading academic institutions will offer participants hands-on training as well as a special preview of significant technology developments from the Alliance.
The Conference will be held at NH Hotel Muenchen-Dornach, Einsteinring 20. The Conference is hosted by the Design&Elektronik magazine in cooperation with the ZigBee Alliance, Elektronik magazine and the Steinbeis Transfer Center for Embedded Design and Networking at the University of Cooperative Education Loerrach.
The Conference is a three-day event for developers interested in implementing ZigBee technology into their products. Lectures and training sessions are specifically designed to help companies get products to market faster. During the Conference, designed specifically for hardware and software developers, participants will:
Gain mastery of new features from software and hardware providers and learn how to add them into products
Learn how to dramatically reduce development time with a variety of detailed lectures on ZigBee related subjects
Understand what building blocks and products are available for implementing ZigBee into products
