Greater Phoenix Chamber Honors Engenuity as the 2007 Small Business of the Year

(Chandler, AZ – June 2007) – After being recognized as one of the top 10 businesses of this year’s Greater Phoenix Chamber’s IMPACT Awards, Engenuity Systems received yet another big announcement – it was named the 2007 Small Business of the Year. Engenuity received the award at the 20th Annual IMPACT Awards luncheon held at the AZ Biltmore and Spa on May 31.

The Chamber’s IMPACT Awards honors business owners and leaders from companies with fewer than 100 employees for their outstanding efforts. Over 50 Arizona businesses apply each year and only 10 finalists are chosen, four of which receive awards in community involvement, innovation, response to adversity and as the small business of the year.

In addition to receiving this year’s “2007 Small Business of the Year Award”, Engenuity was also named one of “50 Arizona Companies to Watch”. Presented by the Arizona Small Business Association and founded by the Edward Lowe Foundation, the “Companies to Watch” awards businesses statewide that play a key role in the economy, and encourages peer learning among second-stage business owners.
