Providing a Smarter Grid through optimizing efficiency, productivity, and reliability.
WAUKESHA,
WI, June 1, 2011 – The 2011 Cooper Power Systems Smart Grid Conference
is scheduled for October 4th – 6th, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This
annual three-day conference offers parallel tracks covering Advanced
Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Demand Response, and Grid Automation.
Attendees are also invited to participate in professional development
workshops on the third day.
The
Cooper Power Systems Smart Grid Conference brings together solution
experts, business partners, and customers, providing an excellent
opportunity to meet with peers to explore new application ideas and
discuss best-practices. Attendees learn about emerging technologies,
and are invited to influence hardware and software development to
ensure that Cooper Power Systems solutions continue to evolve to
support changing utility needs.
This conference will include
in-depth sessions presented by Cooper Power Systems Smart Grid experts
and by customers who are doing real-world Smart Grid projects. Support
professionals from Cooper Power Systems will be on hand to provide
one-on-one assistance at the conference Support Center.
“We
are always excited by the innovative ways our customers put our
solutions to work to solve their problems,” said Mike Stoessl,
president of Cooper Power Systems. “Last year our key-note speakers
included both a large investor-owned utility and a large electric
cooperative who detailed their own Smart Grid visions and challenges.
This is an open forum for us to share solutions to optimize energy
delivery. Whether our customers are presenters or attendees, we know
they come away with knowledge and contacts to meet their evolving Smart
Grid needs.”
Cooper Power Systems also hosts 10 North American regional Smart Grid conferences annually.
The
2011 Smart Grid Conference will be held at the Sheraton Bloomington
