October 2-4, 2012 - Washington, DC
International perspectives
GridWeek 2012 is a proud participant of the U.S. Department of
Commerce's International Buyer Program (IBP). Throughout the U.S.
Commercial Service's network of offices in U.S. Embassies and
Consulates worldwide, the IBP recruits pre-screened foreign delegations
and brings them to selected important events in the United States,
connecting U.S. companies with international buyers and thought
leaders. GridWeek is the only Smart Grid event in this program.
GridWeek 2012 Promises Value out of Complexity
As grid-modernization and smart grid efforts provide the energy
industry with more information, a broader system view, and more
efficiency and control, we are faced with increasing complexity. The
challenge lies in deriving value from that complexity -- for all
stakeholders.
GridWeek 2012 will tackle the challenge of deriving value from this complexity -- gathering utility, policy, regulatory and consumer experts to approach the topic head-on.

Quality and unique perspectives has always been the hallmark of
GridWeek since 2007. The 2012 agenda, now online, provides a rich and
relevant set of subjects, discussed under the theme of Value Achieved
from Complexity. Context also matters, so the three conference tracks
are; Big Drivers, Utility Business and Showcase. Don't miss this
discussion.
