Companies to Share Access to Smart Energy Profile 2.0 Products

Simi Valley, CA – June 26, 2013 – QualityLogic (www.qualitylogic.com), the leading developer of commercial test tools for the Smart Energy Profile 2.0 (SEP 2), and Grid2Home, the leading vendor of SEP 2 protocol stacks, today announced an agreement to co-operate closely on the development of SEP 2 technology. For QualityLogic, the latest G2H SEP 2 Protocol Stack provides a “golden” reference for testing new features and functions incorporated in the QualityLogic SEP 2 Ad Hoc and Functional Test Systems. For Grid2Home, access to the leading (and only) commercial SEP 2 Test Systems provides an independent means to validate functionality in the Grid2Home SEP 2 technology.

“Having a mature SEP 2 set of functions to test against will help us develop additional tests for our SEP 2 Ad Hoc and Functional Test Systems much more quickly,” said Steve Kang, QualityLogic’s VP of Engineering.

According to Gordon Lum, G2H’s VP of Engineering, “access to the QualityLogic test tools enhances the quality of our SEP 2 Protocol Stack and accelerates our product development. It is a great benefit to our customers.”

The agreement between QualityLogic and Grid2Home, the acknowledged leaders in SEP 2 technology and test systems, is expected to be a major benefit for the entire SEP 2 industry.
