Named one of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies

[Brossard, QC, June 12, 2014] - Distech Controls, an innovation leader in energy management solutions, today announced that the company has ranked 279th in the 2014 PROFIT 500 by Canadian Business and PROFIT, the definitive ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies. Based on five-year revenue growth, the PROFIT 500 profiles the country’s most successful growth companies.

The widely recognized PROFIT 500 is a particularly significant ranking, as it compares Canadian companies across all industries. With an increase in revenues of 196 percent from 2008 to 2013, Distech Controls is proud to figure amongst Canada’s crème de la crème.

Over these past five years, Distech Controls remarkable sales growth was achieved by remaining at the forefront of innovation with its building automation and energy efficiency solutions. The company’s strategic acquisitions, key investments, and international expansion have further amplified this growth, securing the company’s ranking in the latest edition of PROFIT 500.

“The members of the PROFIT 500 are the elite of the country’s entrepreneurial community,” says James Cowan, Editor-in-Chief of Canadian Business and PROFIT. “Their stories are lessons in business strategy, innovation, management excellence and sheer tenacity.”

“To be included in this prestigious list, which spans across all industries, is a direct result of our organization’s dedication to quality and innovation,” said Etienne Veilleux, President and CEO of Distech Controls. “Even as our international success continues to flourish, Distech Controls remains proudly Canadian. We look forward to continuing this growth in the years to come with our outstanding network of Partners and employees,” added Veilleux.
