An Opportunity to Reduce Electricity Consumption, Curtail Demand, and Improve Bottom Line - June 26, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Waldorf Astoria

POWER OPPORTUNITY IMPACT

WELCOME | Yardi
Yardi founder Anant Yardi will share his vision of how, together, we can use patented LOBOS building intelligence to positively impact the electricity grid, curb greenhouse gas emissions, reduce the size of New York City’s carbon footprint, and increase our buildings’ bottom lines.

NEW UTILITY INCENTIVES | Con Edison Green Team
Con Edison will share information on the more than 100 million dollars in new utility incentives aimed at the very specific goal of relieving 50 megawatts of electricity demand from the grid serving Manhattan and the five boroughs by June of 2016. The Cuomo administration is promoting this reduction as a key to the potential retirement of the Indian Point Energy Center.

TECHNOLOGY AND OPPORTUNITY | Enerliance
[an error occurred while processing this directive] The Enerliance team, the most recent addition to the Yardi family, will detail how LOBOS software technology changes the way large commercial buildings consume HVAC energy and participate in demand response. LOBOS-equipped buildings typically reduce operating expenses by 20 cents per square foot while producing 1 W per square foot of demand response capacity and 2 kWh per square foot of annual energy savings. We will directly connect this functionality to the opportunity to contribute to the Indian Point solution, and discuss how the newly available utility incentives cover a substantial percentage of costs associated with installation and implementation.

Social program to follow.
