Company continues expansion of its sales organization

[Brossard, QC, June 25, 2014] - Distech Controls, an innovation leader in energy management solutions, today announced the appointment of three Sales Managers who, together, will form the company’s new Strategic Solutions Sales Team. This growing team will work with Distech Controls’ existing Partner network and multi-location, national account clients to create and promote energy saving opportunities through the deployment of Distech Controls technology.

In taking on the role of Strategic Account Sales Manager, Canada, Joseph Marra will be responsible for expanding and maintaining relationships with national, multi-site customers across the country. Joseph’s 25 years of sales experience and more than 20 years of successful performance contracting expertise will play an important role in enhancing the company’s growth across this market.

Bringing over 19 years of industry sales experience, Brian Ricci joins the team as Strategic Account Sales Manager, Unites States. Brian will be responsible for the growth of Distech Controls’ strategic national accounts throughout the United States. Brian has past experience in the Hospitality and Retail (Grocery) markets that will allow him to bring specific and unique technology solutions to National Account clients.

Finally, Geoff Olsen has taken on the role of Sales and Program Manager, Smart Room Controls. Joining the company from the lighting controls industry, Geoff will secure the success of the Smart Room Controls product line, providing the full integration of advanced lighting and shading control with HVAC systems.

Reliable ControlsThe Strategic Sales Solutions Team will be joining the company’s Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs). Distech Controls’ RSMs have the strategic function of developing sales in a given geographic areas (or sales territory), thereby forging special relationships with customers. They establish strategic partnerships and are always seeking to build loyalty. Distech Controls’ BDMs lead the efforts in expanding and maintaining relationships with influencers (specifying engineers, architects, property managers) and end user customers (building owners). They promote the entire range of Distech Controls’ products, solutions and services to influencers and end users.
