Carrier And Tridium Announce The Release Of CarrierOne™, The Next Generation Controller For The Carrier Comfort Network™ Product Line

Richmond, VA. - Tridium, Inc. and Carrier Corp. announce a new generation of CarrierOne™. Developed on Tridium's Niagara Framework®, Carrier's new product line has been expanded to include new controllers that provide more capacity and flexibility than ever before.

The CarrierOne product line gives customers the ability to monitor their HVAC equipment through a browser and make adjustments in real-time. Carrier customers and dealers can respond to alarm conditions quickly by using a web enabled device, which will help reduce down time while optimizing performance. In addition to the browser-based user interface, CarrierOne products enable integration with other BACnet devices as well as other communication protocols such as LonWorks, Modbus, and OPC. . "The flexibility that CarrierOne provides allows us to install and support systems more efficiently," says Mark Tozzi, Controls Global Business Manager, Carrier Corp. "The fact that our systems can seamlessly interoperate with other building systems gives building owners more flexibility in choosing vendors and designing buildings."

Carrier and Tridium worked collaboratively to design and develop CarrierOne. "It has been a tremendous experience working with Carrier," said Steve Fey, Vice President of Sales for Tridium. "The CarrierOne product line has the potential to make a major impact in the market and we are very pleased to have the industry leader in air conditioning equipment as a Niagara Framework partner." The CarrierOne product line is available through the Carrier branch organization globally.
