Securing Buildings News

Mequon, WI  - Eagle Technology, Inc. introduces their newest module, ProTeus Alarm Interface (PAI). PAI is at the heart of ProTeus IV, Eagle’s most recent and innovative Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) for facilities maintenance.

First in its Class
Eagle Technology, Inc. is a leading provider of CMMS Software to facilities worldwide. Eagle has developed a unique BACnet® compliant interface that provides seamless integration with most Building Automation Systems (BAS) such as, Trane, Alerton, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens and many more.

ProTeus Alarm Interface (PAI) is the first of its kind in the facilities maintenance and CMMS industry. PAI facilitates instantaneous activation of work orders based on real-time parameters such as alarms and/or events. It also provides the capability for automated printing, emailing, or paging to immediately inform technicians of alarm status and actions.

Value-Added
Eagle’s ProTeus IV system not only adds value by reducing downtime, but it also increases asset life and improves productivity, and it now offers PAI, which adds to the overall value. PAI provides a one-of-a-kind integration with BAS environments to increase productivity and reduce response times.

One of the many values added from PAI is the reduction of labor cost. This is a direct result of real time monitoring and rapid action taken (associated with automated work order generation). PAI directly minimizes an employee’s time required to read, analyze, activate and create work orders. The action is executed quickly therefore, reducing labor cost.

Another value that PAI offers is optimum efficiency when handling preventive maintenance. Runtime triggers prevent a maintenance team from over or under maintaining equipment, which equates to less downtime, more efficient use of manpower and an increased life of HVAC equipment. Trend analysis from work order history provides valuable information to implement predictive maintenance strategies.

Flexibility
From a single user to a full-scale application ProTeus IV offers three levels of functionality to fit every business need.

• ProTeus IV Expert - maintenance management software for 1-4 concurrent users
• ProTeus IV Professional - advanced features and up to 8 concurrent users
• ProTeus IV Enterprise - full feature Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and multi-site environment
