Alliance Announces New Sponsor Member IPKeys, Certified Products,
Global Adoption and Strong Member Presence at DistribuTECH
MORGAN HILL, Calif., March 04, 2014: The New Year is starting off
strong for the OpenADR Alliance, with a new sponsor member, 40
certified products and growing global support of Open Automated Demand
Response (OpenADR). New sponsor member, IPKeys is a strategic
partner in the Federal, U.S. Department of Defense, Commercial and
Energy sectors, delivering expertise in the definition, development,
integration, and deployment of Internet Protocol (“IP”) technology and
communications systems. As a sponsor member, IPKeys joins the board of
directors comprised of Southern California Edison, Lawrence Berkeley
National Laboratory, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), AutoGrid,
EnerNOC, Honeywell and Siemens.
The OpenADR Alliance had a strong showing at the DistribuTECH
Conference in San Antonio with 23 members exhibiting. Global support of
the OpenADR 2.0 profile specification became evident with the release
of the publicly available specification (PAS) IEC/PAS 62746-10-1 by the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

implement automated demand response programs. Finally, international
support for the IEC PAS is a testament to the global interest in
OpenADR adoption.”
