$2.5B estimated capacity shared among all awardees; Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract

DALLAS – March 4, 2015 – Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, today announced that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, Ala., (USACE HNC) has awarded the company an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with an estimated capacity of $2.5B shared among all awardees. Schneider Electric is one of 13 firms on this multiple award task order contract (MATOC). The Utility Monitoring and Control System (UMCS) contract work will provide engineering and services necessary for the procurement of new and/or upgrades to direct digital control systems, HVAC systems, SCADA systems or other automated control systems on government facilities worldwide. It will further provide for the monitoring and control of utilities at government facilities, municipalities and educational institutions to meet specific installation requirements.

USACE maintains a UMCS Mandatory Center of Expertise at the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Ala. The Center manages programs that implement energy improvements and make living and working conditions better for soldiers, civilians and families on military installations and other federal agencies.
