Introduces the Next Generation in Electric Actuator Technology

Milwaukee - Johnson Controls, Inc. expands its popular, non-spring return, electric actuator line with the M9106 Series. M9106 actuators are ideal for positioning round, balancing, control or zone dampers in HVAC applications, as well as positioning the blades in a VAV box. The M9106 Series replaces earlier-generation EDA-2040 and M9104 models.

New Actuator Series Offers up to 560 LB-IN of Torque

Johnson Controls, Inc. has expanded its non-spring return, electric actuator offering with the new M9132 Series, providing 280 pound-inches of torque, or 560 pound-inches when used in tandem. This electric actuator series is the ideal solution for large valves and dampers. Typical valve applications include large globe, iron, butterfly and ball valves. Typical damper applications include large fresh air and exhaust air dampers, air handling units, inlet guide vanes and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). 

Two New Models to Popular Spring Return Actuator Series

Johnson Controls, Inc. expands the popular M9206 spring return, electric actuator series with two new models, the M9206-BGA-2 and the M9206-BGC-2, used for two-wire, on/off control. This family of spring return actuators delivers 53 pound-inches of torque, and includes a number of features to ensure fast, easy installation and long life. The M9206 Series is ideal for lower torque uses such as positioning air dampers and valves in HVAC systems. Specific applications include two-way valves, outside air dampers, exhaust fan dampers and fresh air dampers.

Two New Proportional Models in the M9216 Electric Actuator Series

Johnson Controls, Inc. has added two proportional control models to its popular spring return M9216 electric actuator series. The series offers on/off, floating, or proportional controls to fit almost any application and provides 140 pound-inches of torque, or 280 pound-inches when used in tandem.  

The two new models feature an extended temperature range to meet the needs of most outside air applications.

New Spring Return, Direct Mount, Globe Valve Actuator

Johnson Controls Inc. introduces the VA-4233 Series, a family of compact, 61 pound-inch, electric valve actuators for globe valve applications. This new family of economically priced, spring return, electric valve actuators is designed to accurately position ½-inch through 1¼-inch Johnson Controls VG7000 Series globe valves, as well as a number of other competitive models.

New Dampers

Round Balancing Dampers in Stainless Steel

Johnson Controls, Inc. extends its damper product family with the new stainless steel round balancing dampers. The addition responds to requests from customers who require stainless steel in applications such as fume hoods, swimming pool exhausts, food processing and industrial processes, where normal galvanized steel is not sufficient. These dampers allow for easy and efficient installation. They conveniently come in one-inch increments in diameters ranging from 6 through 22 inches to meet different application specifications. 

Motorized Zone Damper with Fast, Easy, "Plug-and-Play" Installation

Johnson Controls, Inc. introduces the new ZD-1800 Zone Damper with a factory-mounted actuator, offering a "plug-and-play," integrated damper and actuator solution. This zone damper is ready to install right out of the box for fast, easy and efficient installation. The ZD-1800 zone damper was designed for light commercial or residential applications requiring variable volume zone control, including volume control to regulate airflow and pressure control to maintain constant pressure. Offering a wide range of sizes, the ZD-1800 is available in two-inch increments, with a minimum size of eight by eight inches, and a maximum size of 24 by 24 inches.

Setra Systems, Inc. Adds An Optional Low Cost 3-Valve Manifold for the Model 230 Wet-to-Wet Differential Pressure Transducer

Samsung Introduces its New Webthru Line of Web-ready CCTV Cameras

Built-in server, Wavlet compression technology make this family of web camera servers faster, easier to install.
