Alerton Releases Envision for IBEX 20: New Version Offers Enterprise Ethernet Performance

Redmond, WA - Building automation systems pioneer Alerton (www.alerton.com) announced the release of version 2.0 of its Envision for IBEX operator workstation software for building automation systems. Alerton added communication code to enhance IBEX system operation on enterprise Ethernet networks.

"The release of version 2.0 illustrates our ongoing commitment to IBEX products, which have a loyal following," said Kevin Caskey, Alerton's vice president. "IBEX users are drawn to its long-standing reputation for being easy to use and reliable."

A single Envision for IBEX server can now seamlessly support up to 32 global controllers over Ethernet, Caskey explained, and users can access the system as they would any other office application from anywhere in the enterprise.
